I have a 4age 20v Blacktop 5 speed. My current transmission gave up. Since this is also a good chance to upgrade, I want to source a transmission assembly of 6 speed C160 with LSD, also If I have the budget, also source a 6 speed M/t ECU to match the tranny.

My question would be, how to know if the transmission I am buying is a C160 tranny with LSD? In our country (The Philippines) the parts are sold without their corresponding halfcuts so I wouldn't know.

And also, how to differentiate a 5 speed ECU from a 6 speed ECU?

I mean, how to differentiate just by looking at the part itself.
