I have an 85 gts that will turn but won't start. Could the idle be the problem? How do I fix it at home without taking it to the shop, cause money is kinda tight right now. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you!

Spark ok? Fuel delivery/pressure ok?

No spark. Thinking it's the ignitor. Don't have 200 for a new one

Did you check to see if you have 12V at the coil positive connection when the key is ON ?
The igniter is a fairly tough little critter, and they don't usually die without a good reason.

Yeah. Measure the voltage there and be sure that's not it. Was it running fine before?
