so i got a aw11 gze and am trying to wire it up for my corolla. ive gotten the car to start with the cold start injector but it dies shortly after. i have fuel to the rail. and i have spark. my cam timing is right as well... only thing i can think of is my injectors are not working. i want to make sure that i got wiring for the injectors right. and i am also using a AE86 injector resistor pack... maybe this is my problem??? the plug is the same so i thought it would work. is there a way i can test and see if the injectors are opening correctly???

Check to see if the fuel pump cuts out a few seconds after you release the starter.
This is an indicator that the Circuit Opening Relay (COR) is faulty or not correctly wired.

Or if this is an AFM GZE it can be a sign that the AFM is not hooked up, there is a massive intake leak before it or it is not functioning properly. The AFM door must open to trip the COR and keep the fuel pump running after you release the key.
Like jdm86 this would be my first suspicion.

when i manually open the flap on the afm it turns the fuel pump on. and it turns on while cranking. so i would think i wired it correctly no?

To rule out the AFM and COR jumper it in the diagnostic box. I'm pretty sure it's FP to b+ but you should double check on that.
Are you sure everything is connected and routed right?
Air filter>AFM>TB>SC>IC>intake mani?
Are you sure there are no big vacuum leaks like say the brake booster being unhooked or anything like that?

i have the brake booster plugged. and all other lines im not using for things like ac plugged as well. and yes it is all connected and routed right as far as i can tell.

i used a noid light and i am getting pulse. and i am also getting spark. so i dont know... i am kind of stumped...

i dont have the tach or the CEL wired.... could that be a problem?

Just saw there is more progress in the MR2OC thread so I will respond there. You really need to tell us what is going on and what you have done. You bumped this thread yet didn't tell us you jumpped the FP interlock which was the first test need to to decide how to progress. You also haven't updated any of the other things you have done or heard that I just read on the OC. The more you tell us the more we can help you.

update. i cant jump the terminals at the diagnostic box because it wont work since i am using the ae86 circuit. i would have to jump it manually at the relay which i did. still same thing. i went over every wire and found two that were not connected. i am currently trying to figure out how to wire these.
the red circle is a black wire to the igniter for the tach

i dont know how to wire the "els2" circled in the bottom... on the ecu pin out it says Accessory switch.

here is a actual pic of the plug.

and the red circle would be spliced to this wire correct?

i also hooked up the CEL and got a code 12. which says no ne, or G signal to ECU.

that is where i am at now.

sorry for being so vague before.
