stock 7AGE crank, spinning 10+k, making over 1000 whp
I wonder what mods needed to keep the bottom end alive
Run 7 sec quarter mile on original datsun leaf spring rear. Crazy

Upgraded pump internals or dry sump oil system. Aftermarket rods. Forged pistons. Main studs. Girdle would be a bit of a help.
One shot, one kill.

probably filled cylinder block also. 1900cc. ~1100hp. Turbo wider than the cylinder head
says 20 years of 4AG developement, with lots of broken motors. All specs top secret. Pays the bills he says. Still a market I guess

milder interesting small trucks. 4ag, 7ag & ca18: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJDqVBbhHNU

MRP has a number of kits now... one option gives you aluminum rods - a long time drag racing favorite.

As to the engine mods... one thing about drag racing few think of... is the relative low time spent actually racing. A 7 second run only is making power for a bit over 1000 total revolutions..... At that few total rpm, and the "G" loading only in one direction.... the block may not need as much as it would running in an F/A car @ Road America

Building a great engine takes knowing the end... before you begin :ugeek:

That's one way to look at it. Nice perspective there!

I'd think road racing motor won't see anywhere near the hp, tq or stress.... so may take the whole nine, if only to survive
First 3 boosted 4AG 10,000 rpm screamers, posting on club4age way back, ALL split the bores with psi in the 30s
I'm guessing this 1000whp 7AG prob in excess of ?60psi
