Hi!

I have a 4AGZE MAP DLI that I want to drop in my AE92 GT-S.

I'm missing some accessories so I can do the whole swap. First of all, I need an alternator for this engine and I don't seem to find one. Is there an compatible alternator that can fit there?

Is there a rebuilder locally? Best chance to get the job done. Another question is, is it the distributor or the regulator? ECU?

Maybe it's time to find alternatives. The supercharger is becoming extinct and the alternator is being an issue as well. Keeping limited edition anything can be a challenge.

This is a picture of an OEM AE86 alternator (built-in regulator) fitted to the
alternator bracket from a non-A/C AW11...



Bolted straight in and I only needed to make a steel strap with an offset in the
middle to hold the top. Puts the battery positive cable connection in a kind of
awkward spot close to the block, so be sure to use a rubber insulating cap to
prevent any chance of an accidental short circuit.
