Hello all,
I am having the hardest time finding an oil pump for my 20V Black Top 4AGE. I have the part number 15100-19045 but it isnt showing up as a good number. Have they changed it? Anyone know where to get a good new one?
Thanks again!
Matt

Hello,
I can get you a new OEM one for about $215 (excl shipping from holland).
If you need one just send me a pm. You can also convert to the 16V or Silvertop oil pump en use their tensioner.
If you need a new OEM BT tensioner ad another $90.
I can get the parts from a friend that can order them directly in Japan.
EDIT: Prices can vary a bit because of the changing dollar/euro value, but it'll never be more then about $10-20 on the total.

I've thought about converting to the old style. I've heard it's more reliable, any truth to that?

Yes, that's what they tell.
They tell the hydraulic tensioner can fail, but they only fail, that's what i heard though, when not replaced soon enough. My opinion is that when you change the timing belt you should
always change the tensioner also. I think they wouldn't fail when replaced with the timing belt change.
But if you want to save some money every timing belt change i'd advice choosing for going the 16V way. Don't forget you need the 16V/Silvertop 20V oil pump also. It won't work with the BT oil pump!

U can solve the tensioner issue by converting it to manual...easy mod or SQ Engineering is developing a billet manual tensioner also

Thanks for the replies! The only reason I don't switch back to 16V parts is because I was able to get the black top belt and idler through our dealership for really cheap, only to find out later that the pump and tensioner are hard to find over here. The real question I am dealing with is whether or not its cheaper to just finish the Blacktop way, or re-buy everything but for a 16V/silver top.

I believe I can get you a BT oil pump. If so it would be about $180. Email me if you are interested and I will confirm price and availability.
If you are interested in the tensioner let me know. A part number would be great otherwise I can find it.
