16v High comp pistons

Hello again everybody! Its me again with another question, this time its pistons!
Okay, so in a previous post i asked about which camshaft i can run with my stock valve train. Everyone that responded said i should buy Tomei 264 poncams, after researching a little bit more i completely agree and they are being order this friday!
Now, on to the question at hand. I have an AE92 bigport. I want to buy new pistons, Crower said they will make me a custom set with all the hardware included for around 600 dollars.
i dont want them to be overbore, as i dont have a machine shop in my area to bore the block for me. How high should the compression ratio be?
will i be okay to use my stock ECU with the new pistons? and should i even expect to gain that much power?
Thanks for all of your help!

Some piston info I've posted before....
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1012&start=60#p19078Crower is the "maker" (NOT - they have JE Piston make them) of my friends pistons..... in post above.... the sheet shows 81.5mm, but just ask them for 81mm if you desire std bore.

Recommendation... FIND a shop who you can trust to do the machine work. Throwing expensive parts at an engine will not work well with out proper machining to go along with the parts.

Thanks for the info! I guess I would also have to ask them to make the hole for the pin 18mm instead of 20mm since I have the motor with TVIS. Did your friend see a good gain in power with these pistons?

FYI if your large port came from an ae92 then it is the 2nd gen 4ag with the 42mm crank

Does this also mean it will have the 20mm pin? I thought thoae were only in 20v and 4agze.

20mm wrist pins first showed up in for use in the 4AGZE. They used the same wrist pin in both 4AGE and 4AGZE from 1988+

I was in the dark but now I can see the light!
Thanks for the info.
I just sent the specs off to JE to see how much this will end up costing me.

*IF* they are costly through JE... (they likely will be), just contact Crower... I know, it seems counter productive, but if JE is too costly, let Crower supply them.........

Just got an email back from JE. They actually told me to contact Crower instead. I suppose they would rather deal with a distributer than deal with the public. Hopefully I will make some good power with the piston and cam combo.
