20v mega squirt question....o2 sensor wiring
I have a fully wired msn2e to my silvertop 20v but I don't see any wires extended or possibly pre wired by the last owner for the o2 sensor on the header

Maybe the P.O. was running the system in an open loop mode?

Would be a good explanation why it runs fine without it. Will a standalone lc-1 kit be appropriate???

If you wish to ascertain if the previous owner did a good job (or had done by someone else), then yes, you can use an LC-1 to monitor and record the A/F at the exhaust to see if there are any overly rich or lean spots.
You could then use that information, along with recorded MAP, RPM and TPS to look at the Megasquirt tables to modify if found to be too rich or lean.
It can also help with cold start, altitude and acceleration tables as well.

For sure thanks!

i think a wideband is definitely worth having especially on MS! closed loop is great!
