Current set up;
82mm 11.1 pistons
Toda-R 264/272 9.0mm
Custom valve springs
0.5mm metal head gasket
the rest would almost be standard.
I plan to change to CP Pistons 82mm 12.1 CR. Would i get a big difference from the current 11.1 CR? And also what RON rating must i run with? Is the head gasket safe to run 12.1 CR?
Thank you for the advice.

With that pistons and a 0.5 headgasket i guess you're getting close to the 13:1 mark. With a 0.8 TRD headgasket on a bone stock BT you'll already achieve 11,5:1! Don't know about the pistons hitting the valves with such a thin gasket. But other people over here will tell you soon
For octane i think you need racing fuel or at least 100RON.

BTW, is it advisable to replace the intake cam pulley to the adjustable type? Im running Adaptronic and will only be used in 1/4 race.
