Hello,
I own a 1998 Celica 7AFE and am busy with converting it to the 4AGE 20V Blacktop. Ofcourse wiring is one of the issues and i nowhere could find the specification for a pin on my ECU.
I therefore decided to open up the ecu body, piece of cake btw, and there are all the pins printed happily. That's how i found out that my so called ABS pin out was a pin for my cooling fan relay.
But another one, that was not in the internet, was a pin with EGW on it. It's supposed to be to trigger the warning light when the exhaust gasses reaches a too high temp. But why is that connected on my vehicle? I don't even have a EGT on it. How would it read the exhaust temps?
I think i can completely forget about it, but i don't think this is logical anyway
EGW pin connected but no EGT?!
