20V BT wiring

Postby SR5valves » Mon Aug 26, 2013 8:27 pm

Whats up dudes. Helping an older guy with a swap see pictures.

The current project at hand is a 1990 USDM Corolla SR5 formerly equipped with the 4AFE. Swapped out for a 20v blacktop. Motor and engine harness along with fuse box mounted.

We are now faced with wiring the car.
I have for the past few weeks researching this project. I have found much but there is still unanswered questions regarding a swap that will retain a stock appearance and operation.

We want to keep the original gauge cluster if not source the levin trueno cluster and body harness which may or may not facilitate the wiring process

I believe the complete harness from a AE101/111 will help tremendously,

I have phil bradshaws 4age silvertop ecu pinout wiring diagram
the mysterious japanese (4AGE) silvertop wiring diagram
several other nice documents
both the AE92 manual and the manual for the BT engine

Where on earth do i go from here guys?

Is the Dr. Tweak guy for real? I believe he can provide me with a harness for anywhere between 360 and 450.

Thanks oh and here are the pics

Will buying a full harness help out dramatically?
I can get one...

Dr Tweak is definitely real. i purchased my harness from him and was very impressed with the work. i found that you can purchase his harness from him off eBay. it was easier for me.
