Misfire..in a morning

Postby ae86xy » Thu Aug 29, 2013 2:22 pm

Car is ae86 7age full rebuild 2k

Now this morning try to start the car and it misfire no codes then when it warms up it drives fine but when it's been sitting the whole night that's when the problem comes. But when you keep your foot on 3500 rpm sounds normal when you let go of the gas ill die

Now I'm thinking

Could be a bad afm, leaking injectors causing fuel to stay on top of piston then when it hot it burns all the fuel causing not to misfire, cold start injector, maybe new plugs haven't check will do tonight, or clean up the dizzy as its leaking abit.

New plugs
New trd wires
Injector stock
Leaking dizzy will get this fix

i am happy that you solved the problem..... in my engine that have no catalytic converter and variable resistor , you have to lock the idle with co mixture adjustment and spark advance
