Hello,

I'm encoutering problems with a leaking VVT valve. I thought it was the o-ring on front of the sensor that was leaking, but now it seems that it leaks on the sensor itself. Is this possible and is this a common problem?

Funny that this should happen to you. I'be been searching for an elusive oil leak from mine and finally found it to be the VVT solenoid housing. The oil found its way through to the terminal block and into the wiring loom - then down the side of the engine.

Haven't heard of it happening before that through ......

So i'm not alone on this world wth the problem ;). I ordered a new one already. Not extremely expensive heapily :)

Mine was dripping on the aircon mount and the aircon pump. Hate it, just repainted the complete engine and cleaned all the parts and engine bay :(

FYI: This has fixed my problem. Now the next problem is the leaking distributor :( Everything was really proper but now the engine and gearbox has a lot of oil on it AGAIN :(
