What does this mean?
No compression change?
No cams?
Not much you can do without changing internals.

Most people say some 100mm or 110mm stack will give the best improvement over the complete range.
Shorter will gain you power but loose torque.

Simpelst mods you can do are intake, header and exhaust.

Torque is irrelevant and comparing torque and hp is like comparing liters of water to liters per minute flow. It doesn't work.

The TS wants max torque and hp, so it's indeed important. Only thing is to know what he likes most. He said it's he'd like to cruise also so a bit of torque is important imo.

My point is that torque is a measurement of force applied. HP is a measurement of work done. Until you add RPM torque does not tell you how much work can be done. Once you have RPM you can measure potential energy IE HP, KW etc.
When people say they want more torque what they mean is they want more low end HP. People just don't know how to use proper terminology.

this is incorrect, if you fit shorter than 70mm you loose power everywhere. Quite often going longer gives you more power in the real world.

I would suggest upgrading to an MS2 or MS3. The MS2 has good tools for ITB tuning, and the MS3 has some AWESOME tools for VVT, ITBs, limp-mode, and other things which make daily driving much better.

I'd also suggest some cams. Honestly. They're not hard to install, and some mild cams really wake things up.
