In-channel AE86 window visor

Postby Tora » Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:08 pm

I'm looking for a left (drivers-side LHD) or set of left and right in-channel (snap-in) window visors. No need to be OEM metal; I'm not made of money. I'll take plastic, fiberglass, anything. Damaged (but functional)? Most excellent. I recently purchased a set of vent shades that I thought were in-channel type but turned out to be the adhesive tape-on version. I live in Portland, so I'm buying these more for function and less for looks, but I'm not too hot on the look of the stick-on versions.

I would love to trade, if anyone wants to swap snap-in for stick-on for some reason.

Your only option for our corollas are the JDM metal visors, the CF reproduction visors or the short metal/fiberglass visors:

I would be fine with any of those. Are there any vendors still selling the CF reproduction or short visors?

There was a guy on the previous C4ag site, but I can't seem to find them. There's a short visor on ebay, but it's only one side:

Keep checking ebay and this site for the visors, somethings bound to pop up...

Impulse sells some but its going to be really expensive. It's worth it to hold out for visors EJ mentioned.

For now looks as though you'd want metal JDM ones. I believe all the others require adhesives but the metal ones have the triangle "teeth" that hold them in the channel.
