wilwood brake calipers
Re: wilwood brake calipers
Yes, you need a 15 minimum to use me if they are tha big brake caliper
You should think about getting these instead

Re: wilwood brake calipers
Well first off wrong section..... secondly it would probably be cheaper to do the FC/FD big brake upgrade. You'll need an adaptor plate which you can find online and will need 00-03' mini cooper rotors with re-drilled lug holes in them to fit an 86. but brake lines you can use your current ones tho you will need an 1" brake master cylinder. this way you can run any kind of crazy perfomance mini rotors and any kind of crazy performance rx-7 brake pads. but you will need larger then 14" rims maybe even larger then 15".... don't quite remember that part. but honestly the oem calipers do the job unless your pushing a lot more then 160hp out of your 86 which is doubtful. I have a design for the adaptor plate that a guy posted on the zenki forums. hmu if you want me to mail it to you and then you could find a machine shop to mill it for you or what not.
