The intermediate shaft section (pressed in at the bottom) is longer on manual columns.

Maybe if you posted a picture we'd know what you're actually selling, but the longer part of the manual steering column (intermediate shaft) is pressed into the steering column shaft.

Are you selling the steering column shaft, or just the column tube it fits into?

Yea knew that,
What I have is intermediate shaft to steering wheel splines and all in between
Key cylinder and all, no key tho , but I can get pics once I get home

I was saying that I thought intermediates were the same for p/s and manual
And actual rack had a longer output shaft

Yeah the rack splines are different and the u-joint is different and the column is different. It's all different down at that end.

Looking for a manual column.

Does it have any play/noise? It's usually noticeable when stopped if you jiggle/move the steering wheel.

If anything it might has little play in inner tie rod
But nothing crazy bad

Do you still have the other manual steering rack and column? Have an entire AE86 front end?
