Just a question, i have trd 8k springs for the front I want to install. Do they sit on stock perches but still need a shortened casing? As opposed to the coilover lower perch?

If you are not using shorter damper insets then you just need to install the springs as you would a stock pair.

Ok but if I wanted to use shortstrokes can I still use the stock lower perch?

Yes but you would have to run a spacer for the damper to fit in the strut casing.
