Do you have the bracket that goes from the MR2 exhaust manifold to the block? Should be an L shaped piece.

if you happen to have a reference image so I know what I'm looking for, I might be able to find it in my pile of spare parts

This is the best I can do, I'm not sure if this is what the part actually looks like. The part that goes to the block should fit under the AC compressor bracket.
There may be a 2nd bracket for the other side, I'm not sure. I have an OEM exhaust manifold, but not the support bracket(s).
