I bought this for a project that I never got far with. I have had it since Apirl of 2012. I would like to sell it altogether as one (motor, trans, ecu and all). I bought it from an importing company on ebay (japandirectjapanese). I've had one mechanic look it over and tell me it isn't in the best of condition but seeing as it is over twenty years old and stock straight from japan it isn't that bad either.

What does "isnt in the best of condition" entail?

Miles, paperwork?

I don't have paper work. It was advertised as having around 40k on it. The reason that I say it not in the greatest condition. Is because the oil is like molasses and when you turn the crank it sounds like the pistonsrings are in slugde. I was told by someone that was looking to by it that the head gasket has a leak. Which I should have ask him to show me. The bottom line is, if your interested in this motor come and see it for yourself.
When I got this motor all I was conserned with was getting it in my car and getting all the electical figured out. I got it in my car but never got it all figured out. So here it doth lay.

Yea deff sounds like a headgasket prob, plus sludgy sounding is no bueno, so a rebuild is deff in order

I really want a 16v like this for my whip and im not far from brea but for that price ill have to pass glws though looks like its all there!

Yeah, I think I will just have to stop being lazy and just clean it up and do a compression check on it. I think it is just old but I don't know until I really give it a good look.
