AC compressor clutch

If anyone has a spare A/C compressor or just the clutch from it laying around, please let me know! Even if the compressor is broken, the clutch might still be good. You can test it by applying 12v to the wire coming off of it and seeing if the clutch engages/disengages.

Anyway, my clutch failed partially engaged, and I am only seeing complete A/C compressors for sale online. Let me know if you have one! Thanks. 8-)

Any idea how many miles is on the A/C pulley/clutch? If you don't feel like taking the clutch off then I could take the whole compressor assembly, but either way I would be interested. Let me know in 2 weeks! :)

Have you looked for a 1987 or a 1988 Chevy Nova. The A/C units are the same as the Toyota ones. That is (if) your car is a FX16 GTS!!!

I have not, I wish I knew a better resource to cross-reference parts and figure out what other cars share them.

I'm not 100% sure what model my A/C system is from, but I believe it was just a standard USDM AE88 GT-S.

It looks exactly like the 3rd picture here (the one with two plugs coming off it):

I have a 87 and a 88 Chevy Nova's. Both have complete AC systems.
Chevy and Toyota partnered up for two years. That is why the parts will inter change.
