I see them from time to time in japan but they are like 200000 yen...minus two zeros and factor in the conversion rate and shipping and thats your price..... Really not worth it for a TRD sticker under your hood if you ask me..but i can find u one if you got the loot to waste....

Last time I saw one for sale in Japan it was $12,000 USD!!! I'm not even kidding.
Beautiful hood but worth its weight in gold.
Good luck

I remember seeing that one too. I heard it's expensive cause of the way they make it but 12k is way too much.

The weave looks to be way higher quality compared to most other tuner market cf.
The washer nozzle holes kind of kill it for me though. I mean, they went to all that trouble to design a nice latch so one didn't have to drill holes in the hood and use hood pins. Then they go and drill 2 holes for the washer nozzles...

The washer nozzles were something that pissed me off on the first day that I had the car. Use the washers, and watch the dribble leave marks on the nice shiny hood. Kind of thing that makes people call the car a cheap ass riceburner.
So I went to the local Chrysler dealer and said I want two washer nozzles from a Chrysler Laser. Popped 'em on my wiper arms, they clip right on. Spent another two bucks on some vacuum hose and extended the washer hoses up to them. Added a wrap of black tape to hold that down neatly.
I've got the Corolla that doesn't pee on its own face. The washer fluid comes out on the arms, on the windshield, and not on the clean shiny hood.
Probably cost ten dollars to do the same mod today, but if someone needs a real lightweight hood for twelve grand, what on earth would they waste money carrying around dead weight like washer fluid and washer nozzles for, anyhow?

On the model number does it read 08/20 does that mean they only made 20 of these, would kinda explain why theyre so expensive.

^The description in the yahoo auctions link above says, "first production eight of 20 pieces." It might just be the crappy google translater, but there might have been more than one production run.
