If you can't find one, try a Ford 8.8 with this:

You will need to cut and reweld the axles and housing but the good side is there are plenty of lsd available for the rear end as well as they can be found in numerous ford cars/vans/suvs

Did you ever find one? I have a complete caliper to caliper mk1 rear off an 81, located in washington state, but only stipulation is I'm selling it with a true 85 gts possible resto/parts car. Its currently listed on hachiroku.net:

Damnit, if you had shown me that a few weeks ago, that would've been great.
Unfortunately, I already purchased all the parts I need, and only need the rear end and engine bay power harness now.

If you want to part out, definitely let me know.
