ae86 silver top 20 valve help

i have ae86 silver top 20 valve I was wondering what type of ecu do I need to install cause currently I have a automatic one which a shop install for me. My ae86 back fires and im not sure what if its the ecu.

if it is back firing then you should check timing base timing and spark timing is where i would start
