It's only going to get worse. Those do look brand new but you can buy a car for that price...

Every commodity ever. Buy out the market, jack up the price.
Happens almost everywhere there's any form of "tax", be it supra, drift, 240, Porsche, viper, etc and an element of finite low supply. Saw it happening with front ends and tail lights here in the past few years, but at the lower side of the ramp.
Similar to stock new long blocks or v160 Getrags for the mk4 supra. Used to be a couple grand, now it's usually cheaper to buy a good running 350z or 370z and scrap it for parts to use the trans with a conversion plate.
(Or just buy a new CD009 straight from Nissan and an adapter setup)
Nature of things. Even normal used cars have skyrocketed of late thanks to lending and other large interests.
Seems silly given how much 3d prototyping and machining has disseminated into non-commercial common use, but such is life.
