I found these TRD Race Springs at the junkyard on a busted hatch. $40 for the set so couldn't pass them up. The fronts are 8kg, i dont know the rears, I cant see the colored dot on the rear. The rust is just surface rust. Does anyone have any recommendations for cleaning these up?

Lucky you!
If it was me i would clean them with soap and water, hit them with some
thin sandpaper and then spray them with the same color spray paint to
bring em back to life.
If u find another set im sure u can be my new best friend!

Nice score for 40 bucks! Sand it, paint it, install it...done!

It was at a PNP in Virginia beach, I plan to keep them, i had been actually searching for a set of the rears. It had started raining and snowing that day, so the next day i went back to get the rear end, but it had already been snagged.

Bro I need fronts. Especially in that rate. If your planning on selling the fronts I'm interested big time

If it was a gts,,disc brakes, lsd...that would've been sweet even for a spare.

Wish I'd known there was a PNP down there! I just was down a month ago and picked up a bone stock GTS coupe minutes from the water in a development off of 615. Nice score nonetheless, too bad about losing out on that rear end too!
