Wouldn't that scrape the paint?

Yeah it scratched the paint, I was sanding it to repaint anyways. There is no easy (read: paint friendly) way of taking them off, they are 25 year old stickers man. They are baked onto the paint now.

You need a decal eraser. It's basically a rubber wheel on an arbor that goes in a drill and it melts away the decal. Google "3M stripe-off wheel."

Don't forget that the paint underneath is going to look like like the day the car was painted while the rest looks faded and beat to heck. What I'm saying is - you're gonna see the old graphics regardless.
