Okay so I've been using this site for awhile now for information and what not, I thought it's about time I make a build thread.

I've owned a couple of corollas with 16v's in them, this is my current ke70 corolla, I bought the car with a 16v in it but after countless issues I decided to finally go with a 20v. I've always wanted to pour a load of money into a High Comp 20v build and I have finally pulled my finger out and am getting it sorted.
So this is my build so far and whats to come.

4A-GE High Comp 20v Blacktop
CP 81.50mm bore high compression forged pistions C/R 12:5:1

Engine Management:
Haltech Platinum Sport 1000

Brakes:
Ae86 JDM Brake callipers
Goodridge braided brake lines.
Ae86 Slotted and vented Rotors.

Suspension:
30mm RCA's

New G4 8k Hight and Damper Adjustable Rear Coilovers
AE86 JDM Steering Rack
AE86 JDM Steering Arms
Lengthened and Boxed Xt130 Lca's (20mm)

I also have a wheel hoarding problem.
Hoshino G4 14x8 -7
SSR MK3's 14x8.5 -8
Equip 01's 14x8 -15
SSR Mk2 14x7
SSR Longchamps 14x6.5 +12

Rear Arches are front ke70 guards welded on the rear.
All rust just out and Fresh respray.
Nardi Steering wheel.
Velo Gp90 Fixed Back Bucket Seat.

Some of the goodies on the way.
T-series Diff with 4.77 Cw/p and Locker/lsd.
Either PowerCraft, Jasma or Custom 4-2-1 Headers Still unsure on which one to go with.
Defi Oil pressure, oil temp and water temp Gauges.
Another Gp90 and Harnesses

Just some photos of the car from when I got it to now. (I like taking lots of photos)
When I bought the engine.

Visited my engine builder today, arrived to see this, new pistons/rods and head is all ported and cleaned, decided to go oversized vales and Toda oil pump gears, will have redline somewhere around the 9000-9500 range. Block is being honed at the moment and all should be going back together in the net few weeks, just waiting on head studs and adjustable pulleys.

Also got bored and decided to polish the wiper motor and heat tap and clean up the booster. Pretty stocked with how things are coming along.

So I’ve basically come to a stand still until I get my motor back which shouldn’t be to far away, then just need to find someone to tune/wire it up.
Messed around with my dash which I’m pretty happy with and slowly putting the car back together getting most things painted/cleaned before going back in.

I'd like to see a boso/kaido style racer, it'll probably require some fab work tho.

What made you go with that particular EMS? I want to go that route with my 20v and add COPs but the quote I just got from a local shop was 3700 dollars which is more than i paid for the whole damn motor. I'm trying to do research on it so that i may take the install myself and just pay for tuning. Build looks great!

Little bit of an update, got my engine back the other week so decided to clean up my gearbox.
Before.

Gearbox, meet acid..
Image

Came up awesome! Also got a new 5 Puk Sprung Exedy Cluch, ARP Flyweel bolts etc etc...
Image

Got the motor all ready and in it went. Just taking my time polishing/painting everything before it goes in.
I'm in no rush to get it finished but kinda aims for March 2015.

Not 100% sure on what acid it was, pretty sure it was just typical Hydrochloric Acid.
New cam cover. 2 Speed flow fittings for catch can and custom internal baffle.

Yeah still hasn't been started yet, been sorting out some personal stuff, getting a new tilt trailer made in the next 2 weeks then off for some fab work, bash plate, catch can etc etc. then off for tune wire up after that.
