Hey guys I bought this car as a completely stock 1985 sr5 hatchback with 170k miles that sat for 15 years. Here's the progress I've made over the past year.
BIO: I've always wanted one of these cars since I was 16. I was 23 when I bought this car. I've put every cent I've earned and every bit of spare time into this car over the past year.
I'm not building a car here I'm bringing a dream to life. Every bit of work done on this car has been done by me and some helping hands from a couple close buddies. My dream has been to save
this car.
The day I picked it up, I was towing it home. AAA for the win.

I picked up some used megan coilovers from a friend for free. The stock 4ac had a giant hole in the block.

I bought a full GTS swap from a buddy of mine.
Here are the specs:
Engine:
-small port redtop 16v 4age. 8500rpm redline
-individual throttle bodies (silvertop)
-SQ Engineering 210mm stacks.
-crower 280 cams
-megasquirt pnp engine management
-hks valve springs
-ported head
-adjustable fidanza cam gears
-msd ignition
-no name 4 to1 header
-2.25 exhaust.

Started and drove first try. Pretty much everything else on the car was toast. The full brake system was dead, Clutch master was dead, all the wheel bearings were screwed.

cleaned up my bay a bit and painted my valve cover =)

Awesome build!
How is the OBX twin tip exhaust?
I was thinking of getting one but a lot of people say that it's to loud.

Looks good.
I've been considering some old Recaro L series seats myself for a while now. Did you make custom seat brackets? How high up do you you sit compared to the gts seats?

Yeah I built the brackets from flat steel. They sit up a little bit higher with the recaro rails but its not bad. I'm 6ft tall.
