New board, so here my build log for Po, my 86 Levin

when I first got it


then i painted the watanabes because 1 of them wasnt the same color as the others

Also a lil bit of body work/paint



during a drive with a couple of buddies



then found a set of longchamps 14x8 and 14x9 and swapped them




after a few months driving with shitty blown shocks and tha car sagging in the back, also shady old brakes, i decided to gather parts and upgrade brakes and suspension







new pretties!!!


and that's it for today tomorrow it post pics the ride adjusted

Clean ride! I really wish the usdm ecu's were map based, it cleans up the bay a lot.

What radiator shroud is that? I've never seen one extend behind the headlights like that.

So quick update...

after intalling the longchamps i was getting some rubbing issues on the back, so while i was rolling the fenders, found out they've been worked already. just a thin layer of filler but as soon as i put that roller, it cracked. Took it to my friends shop and at first i was just going to fix the fenders and paint the bumpers. But as picky as I am, I said **** it! lets paint the whole car!! anyways pictures:

got the rear fenders taken care of and a couple of areas that i found had rust while fixing the fenders, now is ready for a lil bit of filler and paint!

Cool build man, can't wait to see the end result. LEVIN coupe holds a special place in my heart

love the wheels. longchamps are among my favorite for ae86. would love to get that cooling panel for my levin!
