intake manifold studs

intake manifold studs

Got one question, I got my smallport head and im about to use the rwd intake manifold with t3 adapter how do you remove that two studs on the intake side as its shorter than a blue top any idea thanks.

Use a stud remover tool..or.. You can do it the el cheapo way & just thread on two nuts jammed together then extract the inboard nut with a 12mm wrench, counter clockwise..

the easiest way is to tighten 2 nuts together on the stud. then you can losten the bottom nut and with them locked together woll hold the stud and losen it from its threads

or you could do it the redneck way, if you arent planning to use em again, just use vice grips. lol
