engine oil
just wondering whats the best engine oil to use on a 20v silvertop 4age?
Re: engine oil
Probably 10W30 but that will depend on how you are using the car and what the outside ambient temperature range is. If it goes well below freezing, use a 5W30 or 0W30 instead. If you're in death valley, 10W40 or 10W50 might be better.
Then there's the service grade, like "SF" or "SM". The newer service grades (second letter closer to "Z") are usually better products.
A quick web search will get you an explanation of these things from the SAE or API, the folks who make the rating standards.

What's the car used for?
If it's a street car I'd go with what Red said. I'll add that if the car is driven really hard on the street, or used on track you may want to find an oil that meets European ACEA A3 standards since they require more strict high temp./high shear specs than API or ILSAC.
