engine mounts

Postby abstract » Tue Feb 05, 2013 6:29 pm

Need to change out my engine mounts to a really stiff mount. Trying to decide between Cusco vs Megan racing. Any suggestions. Any reviews on both of them.

I have the Cusco mounts, and they are noticeably stiffer than stock. No engine shake at all. Also lowers the engine approximately 1cm.

I have Cusco engine and Megan transmissions mounts. Cusco mounts are considerably lower and stiffer than stock. I thought I missed the cradle when I swapped from OEM the Cusco.

Cusco and other harder mounts transmit a lot more noise into the cabin, so if you daily the car, you might not want them.

Oh, it's fiiiiiine. Who doesn't want to hear their engine a bit better (without angering the neighbors).
