Theres a few ems's out there that people are using. Some of the more popular ones from lowest price to highest are:

Megasquirt diypnp (uses stock AE86 GTS engine harness)
AEM
Haltech

Theres plenty of other ones out there. With the higher priced units, you get more features and capabilities. In reality, you can spend however much you want on either one but if you dont know how to tune, its not going to help you out. Calibrating an engine takes a lot of work and know how, otherwise your engine will not last long. If you dont know exactly what your doing, I would also purchase a book on it and do some reading.

Good Luck

You could just run a AE86 GTS engine harness and hook it up that way. If your going to run ITB's your going to have to worry about hooking up a map sensor, IAT, and wiring up the TPS (if you use 20v itb's). There will also be other wiring to consider. I would definitely worry about the wiring AFTER you know whats required to calibrate the engine.

The wiring is going to be different since your using a Greddy unit. Im not familiar with it, so I cant help you out. If they dont give you a harness that connects to everything or the ecu doesnt plug into your factory harness.... then your going to have to make your own. This is all I can pretty much say. Mabe someone who has more experience Greddy can help you out.

The emanage does come with an adaptor harness. I'm good in that department.
On the engine side would there be more than the TPS? Possibly the MAP sensor?

I run a MegaSquirt 2 based wire-in system in my car. It's a 7-rib largeport from a FX16, sequential fuel and ignition reading RPM from a GZE cam angle sensor. If you are trying to find a plug-in system can you email me a picture of your ECU connector? websales@diyautotune.com We probably won't have a ready to go PNP for a JDM redtop but we might have a connector on the DIYPNP system that can fit.
