Car overheated

So I was able to look at the car with my friend today and looking back, I just kind of misunderstood what u guys were telling me because i'm learning still I guess! haha anyway. I went back today and cleaned up the oil and checked the compression again it wasn't as high...I dont know what I did wrong but everything seems to be okay. He did notice the oil was dripping down from the valve cover seals an tightened them some more b/c they were pretty loose. Ill have to replace my coolant overflow reservoir and get the fan figured out and I should be good. I just took her for a spin and it was smooth as normal So thanks a lot guys for the help really appreciate.
