Looking to buy 2jzge and was wondering if my stock 5 speed tranny would work with it or if I may need to get a new one.
Also if not what engine would you recommend for a legal swap.

I dont think the engine will fit in the car. Its probably too long.

Engine will fit, it has been done many times. Tranny will last
until the first time you dump the clutch. You need to look for
a W-Series gearbox, and a Celica or HiLux rear end.

No, it won't.
Use a W58 (which came on the 2JZ-GE).

t50 wasnt designed for that kind of power, it barely handles a modded 20valve... w58 will hold up. stock rear end wont hold up either fyi
