so all my gauges failed the other day at the same time except the speedometer. the only light that work is the door ajar light and battery light. I really lack knowledge in this electrical stuff and basically just wanted some direction to go to when i get started on fixing this.. Any suggestions or help are really appreciated.

Start by checking the 7.5 Amp "Gauge" fuse in the driver's side kick panel.
