I have a Zenki 1985 AE86 GTS. I am in need of the front wheel hub but I can't find one anywhere. The hub I am referring to is the piece that the brake rotor bolts to, contains the wheel bearings, and rolls on the front spindle. This is NOT a FWD model. If it were I could get a hub. Mine has had the hole the bearing race sits in get wallowed out and even with a new bearing a various amounts of torque in the spindle nut, it still wobbles badly. It's gonna tear the spindle up if I don't change it and I know those are rare. Has anyone been able to buy a new one, and if so, where did you find it? I'll pay for a stupidly expensive direct from Japan one if that is what it takes. I've scoured the junkyards in my area and can't even find an SR5 one which would also work. Any help is appreciated!

Have you look on the classifieds section here and put up a WTB add. There are Always guys parking out corollas on here. I bet somone has one.

I haven't posted anything yet, though I'm not ruling that out. I really am looking for new production ones before going used. This is a wear part and I have no idea what Toyo was thinking not just building it into the rotor as GM does. They've been in bed with GM for ages anyway so there really isn't much of an excuse. I'll be posting WTB's though when I've finally given up on a new one. Thanks.

There's also a few international vendors like group 4, ajps, and xtr competition chassis that offer new alloy replacements, but they're pricey.

They still sell them at the dealership. I asked a few months ago.

I just looked up the Toyota part # which is 43502-12070. MSRP is $188.14/each so make sure you don't pay more (sometimes Toyota dealerships mark up the prices 50-100% beyond msrp ). They can be purchased from pretty much any online Toyota parts supplier for around $150/each.

Thanks for the replies guys. The source of this frustration was my local stealership telling me they couldn't get them. I found a OEM toyota website that has em for $139 each for the PN Duece Cam posted.

Why are they a wear item? The only thing that wears on the hub are the bearing races and seals and those are replacable.

they will wear the inside where the race goes, If the hub is not tightened correctly. I found this out changing my wheel bearings. The race just dropped right in and was "wiggly" when seated. The whole job was done, due to wheel shake with new tires and wheels. Replaced the hub and reinstalled new bearings. Good to go.
