Are you guys running the bc spec 2 with the stock cat? Any recommendations as to running it with the cat or not?

imo its probly the loudest sounding exhaust for ae86,lol but i only heard the underdiff version w/o Cat
i dont know if the over differ version has a different sound or tone

if you are planing to DD with it , a cat. Converter is best or
you can just not give a F^^^ and Run it with no cat lol

For example , BC spec 2 with no cat you can hear it 2 blocks or more down with
light throttle

lol

^Agreed. A cat will help muffle the sound some, but it will still wake the dead - understandable since there's only a resonator and no muffler. It does sound good though.

A cat will help, it also comes with a silencer. Mine sets off car alarms at idle if I'm in my parking garage

I'm currently running the BC spec II and with a test pipe it is loud as hell and I don't like it when your cruising down the highway it sounds like a small plane is following you. So I have it with OEM cat and its not so bad
