Hey guys i have a silver ae86 and the both the front and rear bumpers are faded. Not sure what it's made of so i was wondering how you guys would go about refurbishing to make it paint-ready? I was thinking of sanding it down lightly, primer, then bumper paint. below are links to photos of how it currently looks. any feedback is great. thanks
on the ground is the rear bumper...

A couple of things. Yes, that is normal as noted above.
First, you need to the correct color combo for your paint:

Damn i was delayed but finally got around to it... i was low on money so i ended up only buying flexible primer from SnM as the base and i sprayed it with regular paint.. The paint for the plastic bumper ran $30 a bottle at the paint shop i went to and primer was $20, and im pretty much broke rn. lol. Couldn't find exactly 147 paint code so I settled with with 147/148 from duplicolor #BTY1530.. it turned out okay for my taste but i got kinda lazy on the sanding too. hopefully it doesn't peel, but if it does i'll go the right, more expensive route when i do it again. Thanks for all your input guys!
