Hi, I'm new around here and i need advice.
I searched in here and google looking for information.
My ae86 4AGTE is not for daily, i will use it 1 or 2 times a week on the streets and 2 or 3 times a year i will go to the track and run a couple of laps.
I want the car to feel well on the streets and good enough in the track, i do not want the ultimate track car or do time attack, just to have fun.
I want to get shocks for my ae86 this month. I have the option of the KYB AGX setup a local shop have them for $320 all. Also they told me they could get me the Konis for $520, but they will have to order them.

I know that some people do not like the KYB AGX because they are not for the ae86. Which one should i get? Also i should say that this is the start of my build. I was thinking of getting KYB AGX to start and build the car and when if i want to get better handling get the Konis if there is any difference. Is that ok? Also the stock shocks of my car are not in good condition. Also i searched for the difference between the AGX camaro 743019/mustang 743021 still confused in which one is better.

For spring rates i'm thinking of going from 6kg/4.7kg or 8kg/6kg or maybe 7kg/6kg?

Thanks

Welcome to Club4AG :)

You might not believe this, mbut your question is one of the most often
asked in these forums. You could start by reading these...

And there are plenty more threads on the topic. With all due respect to
the various authors, your question will gather a lot of opinions, but not a
lot in the way of hard empirical data. This is because the answer is pretty
much always subjective. What suits one driver just fine, will be too hard/
soft/bouncy/high/low etc for another. Good luck :)

6 - 4,7 and TRD dampers, rears adjustable as a minimum. There's your answer - now stop thinking and go swipe your bankcard :D
