Its a 86 gts

Heres my problem i was driving for 15m. Then i saw the CEL flash then all of a sudden the car died and pop the hood saw the battery + all smoking and the ground all melted pls. Help me out what could be the issue here

Sounds like you got yourself a dead short on some pretty heavy
duty wire somewhere. I'd be looking at the starter wire as most
everything else would be protected by the fuses on the positive
battery terminal connector.

Might also want to check the wires going from the alternator to the fuses. Those wires are all in the loom and could melt a lot of things together if something goes wrong.
