Alt swap 85 to 99

My 85 GTS has been swapped with a BT20v, new wiring harness to accommodate the old 16v accessories.
My 85 alternator just went bad-has a circle plug and im now trying to swap in the (bench tested) 99 alternator that i received with the 20v which has a oval plug.
Cross referencing while i bench tested at the parts store found that the 99 camry used the same alternator/oval plug. Hallelujah, my local junkyard had one and i clipped the alt harness plug off for $12.
NOW.. the wires are diff color of course and i dont want to splice these wrong and end up frying the alt or something on startup. From the pics attached ive gathered that the white 'sense' wires will match up, i need to mate the black IGnition to the red, and the green L ight to the yellow. Am i correct?
The alt pic is of the 99, the old one has NO markings whatsoever on it.
Diagrams are the best i could find on the google.
