Well don't know if the tittle describes what I'm looking for.I want to know what the service limit on the cylinder head deck.Thanks

Deck refers to the block so I don't understand what you are asking.

Deck refers to the block so I don't understand what you are asking.
I believe he is asking for the thickness of the head at its machined limit. An uncut 4AG head is 116mm tall when measured between the cam cover mounting surface and the chamber side

There is a machining limit pad @ #2 exhaust. I've worked heads cut as much as 1.5mm. As you can see below you get quite clost to the intake valves when you take a DEEP cut

I knew there was going to be some confusion since service repair manual only talk about block deck height. Oldeskew I was going to message you from the beginning since you do a lot of work on heads.I got a mild ported head that been resurfaced few times because of blown head gasket and it has hks valve springs but a machinist said that it almost at the end of life.Will post some pictures.Thank you guys.

apologies... I have just the one silvertop head, I can get you a measurement... but without many to measure, all I'd have is a single point of reference
