So I am in the process of rebuilding my motor from scratch using a blacktop 20v head and a silvertop shortmotor. Just wanted to know if anyone had or is still running NOS on their motor, on open itbs and on what safe level are they using it ? I was thinking of running a 30 shot wet setup tapped to the itbs or if need be fabricate a bracket to fit between the head and itbs and tap the foggers on it. Has anyone done this ? What were the results like ? Can the stock bottom end take it ? I was thinking of a 10.5:1 CR built motor, forged rods and pistons with drop in tomei poncams. Also i still have the time and was considering to go for a 4agze short motor, (as it has oil squirters) or a go for a 7afe short motor ... any input on this matter is appreciated.
