RHD turn signal switch on LHD corolla

Postby ericteti » Mon Oct 05, 2015 8:41 pm

Hey guys,

Is it possible to run a RHD turn signal switch, on a LHD corolla? I don't have cruise control, so theres no stalk in the way. I figured this would be the easiest way to hook up my Kouki turn signals natively. If not, I'll have a conversion done to my switch.

Thanks!

I'm having trouble visualizing why you need to change the switch if
you already have a working LHD switch :? A left turn is still a left turn
regardless of which side of the car the driver sits. So why would the
Kouki signals not work just the same as Zenki signals ?

Changing the switch over seems unecessary unless there is something
that can't be fixed by maybe swapping a couple of wires over.

its not the switch that's the problem, im assuming you mean USDM to JDM signals. IF that's the case, its the wiring that needs to be done, the switch wont do anything for you. google the conversion, theres plenty of write-ups around
haha cali...i got one of your 86's and you're not getting it back.
My turd of an 86

I do believe rongfk makes plug and play conversion for this.
