So i put on my IAC Blockoff plate to get rid of my surging idle, but now when i start my car I have to rev it up in order to keep it alive, or else it will die out.
Anyone else have any problems with DB WERCS IAC Blockoff plates? Also, where do I hook up the dashpot to now?

Isn't that expected if you block off the control that is supposed to prevent the idle from dropping? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems to be the logical series of events.

the reson for this is the iacv was what kept the idle up on warm up. when you remove the iacv it is up to you to keep the car running while it heats up. Grant you are correct the iacv is responsible for controlling idle you remove it and your foot now becomes the iacv

It's normal - that's the big drawback of deleting the iacv. I'd be curious to know if people in colder climates can even start their car with the iacv deleted.
You can just delete the dashpot, or use the vacuum port on the throttle body that went to the electric idle up valve (assuming you also deleted it).

With it blocked up you have to hold the gas pedal down a bit to manually warm it up. Sit for a few minutes like that and when the temperature rises a bit you should be good to drive.

Why not just get a new IAC valve if yours is worn out? Looks like Rockauto has them.

My solution, perhaps not for everyone, but it fits my needs perfectly:
