Custom Clutch Line for SR5 to GTS Swaps

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone has any advice for getting a line from my clutch master to clutch slave on my GTSR5 swap. I have the GTS bellhousing with the slave on the passenger side of the car, and instead of trying to source a tired old GTS line, I was wondering if anyone has some other suggestions for getting from CMC to CSC? I was thinking of running a braided line the whole way, but I can't seem to find a generic line in my searches.

This seemed promising, but I don't know if the fittings will be the right size:

Let me know. Thanks!

Xcessive manufacturing makes them. This is the one I used for my Beams swap. The fittings are identical on the slaves so this should work.

Any auto parts store will have generic brake line in lengths like 10", 20", 30" etc. Just measure the length from the M/C to the current SR-5 slave cylinder hose attachment fitting and get a GM brake line that is slightly longer then that dim. If you want the bling then go the braided SS line. If you want the hard line to look good than pick up one of the hand forming tools for brake lines, while at the auto parts. Davew7

Good info from both of these guys, I would add be sure to track down cunifer preflared hardline to use. Cunifer is much easier to bend than other metal hardlines and never rusts.

+1 on the Cunifer (also called NiCopp) lines - super easy to bend and flare.

If you want to go with a generic braided hose, you could just get adapter fittings and use a pre-made hose. The clutch should be 10mm x 1.0 inverted flare on both ends (it's the same as the brake lines). A -3AN hose will work fine. Summitracing.com sells pre-made AN hoses in a bunch of different lengths.
