“Clean” / safe ITB filter options?

Postby yabaiani » Sat Dec 05, 2020 8:41 am

Hi everyone. I had a question I wanted to ask. Are there any safe options for filtering on my individual throttle bodies. With my setup, things don’t fit with the piper cross filter system so I don’t want to run them completely open.

Are there clean / safe options that will keep my engine bay clean? I think that ITB diameter size is 45mm

No room to even mount a "sausage" filter if you put the plate between the silver part
on the end of the ITB and the black part ? Something like this...

I never found anything that you could put on the end of an ITB trumpet that didn't
restrict the airflow (if it was a proper filter) or let all the dirt in (if it was a screen).

I am going with the C6003 based on what Barry said. It’s 80mm, PX600 style so let’s see if it works.
