No Club4AG discussion ? This place has really flat-lined ....or is this product too late to the party ?

its mostly active on facebook now, its been pretty well discussed over there.

The issue in the states is that a VIN is required for importing, which these don't have. I haven't looked into it too much, but at a 5pc minimum, if someone was to buy all that, only to have them send back after arriving at customs...

but yea, this place is a ghost town. more spam registrations, no discussions, it's a shame.

yeah, it would be really cool if there was a way to re vitalize this forum. lots of good stuff here, most of the info i use for my 5.5AG build is just pulled from old threads on here. maybe if the A series and other cars that have the A series(other than the 86 and MR2) got more recognition from younger enthusiasts the forum could be a little bit more lively.

Never 'got' that social media stuff. Was shocked at the trash content, in the early days
I lurked, not register. Sure it has it's benefits. Gen X is a "microwave society", suited for FB
Forums invaluable for us 'old school'. Info should be preserved. We lost alot tho.

Dynacorn? stamped out 69 camaro replicas like 20years back. Can't recall the VIN 'provisions'
I watched a series of them 'restore' one.... back when old hotrod shows were quality
Other popular "classics" replicas were available too. I'd think same DMV work-arounds for AE

You can apply at the state level, for a new VIN. You are registered as an assembled vehicle. Each state will have an inspection check list, which is needed to be able to verified, before they issue a new title.

It'd be interesting to see an a 'build' of an actual street AE "restored" & final cost
The maker of the shell should sponsor such, that it may stimulate sales

Even though the quality aspect might be questionable, I'm stoked for it. Especially for a motorsports application where you need stuff to be disposable.

But hey, if there is a market fot it. Prolly more directed to renewing some of the many 'rust buckets' out there

I hope they put enough recycled sardine & tuna cans into the metal mix, so it won't rot early
I wonder what they do with the original sheet metal dies.... destroy 'em ?
